Our pupils from Secondary 6 and 7 had the incredible opportunity to attend an engaging online lecture with Aisling Garvey, who 鶹s at the European Parliament. This was organised in preparation for the Model European Council (MEC). The MEC is a simulation designed to mirror the legislation and decision-making processes within the institutions of European Union.
Our ten delegates, representing France and Portugal, will head to Luxembourg in March to take part in this event!
Aisling provided valuable insights into key EU political issues, including defence, immigration, energy, and human rights. It was an undoubtedly fascinating experience for our students!
👏 A huge thank you to Aisling for sharing her expertise! We can’t wait to see our pupils in action at the MEC!
